Mr. Khokhar is a career educator with varied experience in secondary and elementary education as a teacher, department head, high school vice principal, Principal, and Director of education for the ISNA School Board, Mississauga, ON.
With undergraduate and graduate degrees and innumerable courses over the last four decades, Mr. Khokhar has not only been heavily involved in the education of young people but also, actively involved in serving the community.
Currently, Mr. Khokhar is serving as the President of United Way, Guelph, Wellington, and Dufferin. He is also the Vice President of Muslim Social Services, Kitchener.
Mr. Khokhar’s community work and commitment to education has been honoured through prestigious awards such as the Robert Hillmer Award from the Ontario Business Education Association, the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award from the Lions Club International Foundation for dedicated humanitarian Services, and the Peace Maker’s Award from the Cambridge YMCA, Ontario.
