ISNA Schools is pleased to present its Think Tech Initiative for both our Elementary and High Schools. This initiative was developed in 2011 with the purpose to modernize the schools’ educational system implementing and utilizing technological mediums as a key part of our instructional strategies. Leading this initiative are the commitment to up-to-date hardware and software; the placement of appropriate personnel; necessary professional development and training to staff members.

Since 2011, ISNA Schools has made many strides with this initiative and the future will only bring more milestones insha Allah:

2011: upgraded computer labs to reflect the latest technologies

2011: commenced e-learning platforms starting with Moodle

2012: refined curriculum expectations in uniquely offered computer courses from Grade 4 onwards

2012: invested in SMART board technology resources

2013: commenced Edmodo as the new e-learning platform

2013: school subscription to various online journals/databases for student research

2013: incorporated online mathematics software, for student practice

2013: invested in online originality check program ensuring authenticity of student work

2014: Google certification of staff

2014: Implementation of Chromebooks for each student (Gr. 6-12) and class sets for younger students

2014: Installation of high end interactive projectors
